The Fresno Chess Club “Most Valuable Member” was established in 2007
This is to show appreciation for outstanding volunteer effort in making the Fresno Chess Club a better place for all other members to enjoy. MVM is open to any member who is NOT an elected officer. Nominee's are voted for by all members and the winner is announced during the Annual Business Meeting held every January.

Any member in good standing can nominate a member. Give your MVM nominee to one of the Elected Officers. This is usually done during November. Voting takes place all through the month of December. Nominee's and the Winner announced in January.
