Until now, this opening has been seriously neglected by chess literature.  For the ambitious and adventurous player who wishes to surprise their opponents.  White makes the Black player have to think for themselves from the start.  Most players are not familiar with 1. b4! as an opening. 


Librarian says, "Ha!  Ha!  I'm White and I can play the worst opening possible in chess!  Or is it?"  Blacks natural move is 1...e5, then White plays 2. Bb2 attacking the e5 pawn.   Tactical play from the start.  I must admit, played it and I like it!  In speed chess, my opponents have wasted 10-15 seconds thinking, "What the...?"
